Dr. Neal McLoughlin is a public servant, administrator, and nationally recognized speaker and trainer working at the intersection of information technology, public policy, and social entrepreneurship. He holds a Doctorate in Education, a Master’s degree, and a Bachelor of Science with Honors, along with numerous professional certifications and designations. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher studying resilience and operational stress in policing.
Dr. McLoughlin is a police administrator and former Federal Task Force Officer, credited with creating and commanding his agency’s first OSINT and Social Media Exploitation (SOMEX) unit. He also served as faculty for the Regional Counterdrug Training Academy (RCTA).
He is the founder of NobleNerds.org, an organization dedicated to advancing technology for public good.
When not developing, writing articles and consulting he can be found completing “mini loops” in a quest to navigate the Great Loop.
